The Musée Petit Monde hosts cultural events and appointments to enliven the area and at the same time enhance the museum, the main artistic and cultural hub, as well as the repository of the memory and identity of the community.

NOTTI AL MUSEO

Notti al museo is a ten-year old summer exhibition, featuring three open-air evenings in August, in the space adjacent to the museum buildings. Over the years, actors, singers, musicians and artists, including internationally renowned ones, have performed in this “magical” place, which is the true cultural hub of the village.

WORKSHOPS FOR CHILDREN

At the Musée Petit Monde, educational activities are organized for the little ones, to bring them to the museum and know about the area and the life of yesteryear in the mountains.

MUSEO IN FESTA

The museum hosts moments of celebration during local festivities and other events to enhance traditional culture.

The labyrinth of memory

The labyrinth of memory, located in the space below the raccard, hosts the story of the Petit Monde, as well as its life and social organization.

The reception area

The space below the grandze houses the reception along with two rooms dedicated to family life, displaying feminine clothes, toys and objects.

A corner dedicated to the processing and preservation of meat.

The lumberjack

Discovering the labors of the lumberjack and his work tools.

The carpenter

A carpentry workshop from another era.

The story of bread making, a fixed appointment for the community that took place once a year.

An example of traditional kitchen of the past with cutlery, furniture and furnishings.
